CHYPS is BACK!

It was great to see the CHYPS team back in action tonight, for the first CHYPS evening of 2018. We welcomed three new members and enjoyed a mix of ball games, board games, charades, Jenga - and made some creative domino trails!

We shared one 'thumbs up' from the past couple of weeks and one 'thumbs down'. We wrote our name and something we were worried about on a piece of paper, slipped it into a balloon which we blew up and batted about the hall. We then grabbed someone else's balloon, popped it, and said a silent prayer for that person. We were reminded that no matter what we're going through, God is always with us, and there is nothing that together with God's help we can't handle.

Youth Rally this Sat 18 Nov

WHEN: Saturday November the 18th 2017

TIME: 1pm for the Activity zones/Game sessions (Dinner provided - please register)

Worship service will begin at 7:30pm

WHERE: Christchurch South Tongan Methodist Church - 42 Somerset cres, Spreydon

CSI (Central South Island) Youth Minitries are having their last Youth Service/Rally of the year. Join them as they end the year on a high with the theme "Christ Sees Inside".

The CSI Youth Ministries will be running activity zones (workshop) and game sessions from 1pm - 5.30pm. Dinner will be supplied for those attending the day session. All are welcome to attend.

Worship will start at 7.30pm followed by supper.

Come enjoy great music and listen to our amazing guest speaker all the way from Auckland... and much more.

Were going to try something a little different for our next Youth Church gathering... come along and hear from EMMA GRACE about her travels to INDONESIA, have a chat with others, and of course, eat! There is a change of time, to 6pm as we will be eating during the gathering.
